What is Cappuccino?

Procedure of making  Cappuccino

To prepare this drink, you have to extract one shot of espresso into the cup or saucer and then pour steamed milk into the cup. After this, you have to pour 2 to 3 cm of milk foam in the cup and garnish it with a dash of chocolate powder on it. Traditionally there is no sugar in the coffee, but you can have it as sweet as you like.

What is Latte?

Latte can be said as a shorter version of the Café latte meaning the coffee milk. This coffee has less milk foam and comprises of the espresso and steamed milk. The Latte is served in bigger servings and may have more than one shot of espresso in it.

The layer of frothed milk is very thin, and the garnishing is done out of cream. Though this drink is different, many coffee houses serve it as standard coffee only. If you are preparing it yourself, then you can garnish it as you like.

The making of Latte is really easy. You will first have to put a shot of espresso in the cup and then pour steamed milk into it. The quantity of steamed milk is more than that used in Cappuccino, and the milk foam is about one centimeter thin. The latte art or garnishing depends up to you.
