For many, water is dull and flavorless due to which they drink only when they are extremely thirsty. This means that they stay dehydrated.

In other words, you may not get a flavored option that is free of artificial sweeteners or chemicals. Thus, it is ideal to make a simple and cooling refresher at home. This will at least give you a naturally cooling drink.

One such drink is cucumber mint water. It is an ideal detox and cooling drink to have on a hot day. Mint and cucumber are rich in anti-inflammatory properties due to which they alleviate bloating, while the lime juice gives the benefits of Vitamin C.

Making Cucumber Mint Water at Home

You need the following ingredients and kitchen gear to make this drink:

  • 1.5-quart water.
  • Sliced rings of peeled cucumber.
  • 5 mint leaves.
  • 1 thinly-sliced line.
  • 2 cups of ice.
  • Big, sturdy, thick pitcher.
  • Peeler, knife.
  • Measuring cup.
  • Wooden spoon.

Start by washing your hands and making it clean for preparation. Now, collect all the ingredients and gear on a clean counter. Then, add all mint leaves to the pitcher and smash them gently using the wooden spoon to release the mint flavor. Do so until they appear a bit smashed.

Now, add water and cucumber slices and mix the blend using the spoon. Finally, place the pitcher in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour. If you wish, remove the mint and slices and then serve.
